Eastham Historical Society

or
Eastham Historical Society
Eastham Historical Society was founded in 1963 by a group of visionaries to Preserve Eastham's Past for Eastham's Future. To that end, the Society maintains museums at the Swift-Daley complex located at State Highway in Eastham and at the 1869 School House Museum, located at 25 Schoolhouse Road. The EHS Archives, also located at the School House Museum, gathers genealogical and historical information through donations, cataloguing and preserving these materials in a safe environment. The emphasis is on, but not limited to Eastham. The Society also sponsors various programs throughout the year including book reviews, historical presentations, information days and public displays.
