Gilbert D. Kingman Photograph Collection

or
The Gilbert D. Kingman Photograph Collection is comprised of late 19th-century views of New Bedford storefronts, mills, street scenes, homes, schools, railroad stations, and wharfs. Kingman (1852-1906) was both an amateur photographer and a photograph collector. As a result, this collection includes both images taken by Kingman and those he printed from the work of earlier New Bedford photographers such as T.E.M. White and S.F. Adams.
