Saul Sherter (1935-2022) was a professor of history at Greenfield Community College for over 40 years and was an active member of the Greenfield Jewish community. In the summer of 1980, he conducted a series of 21 interviews with Jewish residents of the larger Greenfield area, for which he received a staff development grant from the college. The interviews were originally recorded on cassette tape and were digitized in 2022 and 2023.
